I have used various light microscopes for academic and research purposes for 45 years. Now that I'm retired, I needed an inexpensive microscope to quantify parasite eggs in goat feces at about 100x magnification. Received this earlier today and have been playing with it for about 7 hours now. I would like to point out for others that there are several models of this particular range on Amazon, which differ mainly in the accessories that come with them. While not listed for this scope, it came with WF16x eyepieces as well as the 10x and 20x listed which was a nice bonus. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
