After trying to close the tailgate by adjusting the stopper for an hour, I found that the piece was too thick and I had to file one side of the piece. , and a few things you can't do to make this part work as advertised. Look at my photo which side I had to put down. It takes a little force to fully lock the tailgate. I'll find a grinding wheel to fine tune it.
