A strong tool but does not hold the ground well. READ
To be honest this didn't work for me. I thought it would be a super tool for planting bulbs, but ended up using a small hoe. This works fine for indenting the ground and indenting in a circle BUT "grab part of the ground" doesn't work. still fails. This may be user error as it requires a strong hand to press. You can get depth, but the bottom doesn't stay in the tool, at least for me. For a low price I save myself the annoying return shipping. The instrument itself seems sturdy, so I have no issues with its quality. Hope this helps Kim
