Review on 🛠️ AB Tools M10 x 1.25mm Thread Repair Kit/Helicoil Set - 9pc for Damaged Threads (AN019) by Nathaniel Collins

I've installed many thread inserts in this style, never paid much attention to them as it's a fairly simple process. The metallurgy is wrong everywhere on this kit, the inserts are too springy so the thread snaps when installed. The supplied hex key for adjusting the depth stop on the tool does not fit the set screw. The setup tool is too boring, using it is hurting the business. Six tries later I have a "working" thread that works but slowly eats the screw away with each install. So now I'm chasing a new build rather than a repair that I can count on.
