A great option for replacing the trailing arm versus removing and installing another overly compliant factory bushing. A press is not needed, just a hacksaw for the factory case. On my Outback I had to fold back the bracket screwed into the body to get a gap for the screw on the trailing arm bushing. After that, placing the jack under the steering knuckle will rotate the entire trailing arm down and give you room to make light cuts in the bushing cup and then tap it out with a chisel. I ended up loosening and/or removing the shock absorber and wishbone mounts on the steering knuckle to get everything lined up. If you do this, be sure to tighten everything to ride height so you don't overtighten all of the factory rubber bushings.
