Great option for my 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback

Getting to the old bushing was a complete headache, I recommend removing the brace. I ended up cutting off the old screw because it got stuck in the old socket. The socket then had to be sawn out together with the socket clip, a saber saw helps. This jack was very easy to install, thanks for the two piece design! The rear of the car feels very cramped. I installed it on my 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback. I used part numbers for the nut and bolt: 20550AA010 (nut) 901000175 (bolt).

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Nothing here

An excellent option for trailing arm replacement versus removal.

A great option for replacing the trailing arm versus removing and installing another overly compliant factory bushing. A press is not needed, just a hacksaw for the factory case. On my Outback I had to fold back the bracket screwed into the body to get a gap for the screw on the trailing arm bushing. After that, placing the jack under the steering knuckle will rotate the entire trailing arm down and give you room to make light cuts in the bushing cup and then tap it out with a chisel. I endedโ€ฆ

They are a perfect match for the 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo.

I installed them on a 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo and they fit perfectly. The instructions say the larger bushing should be installed on the inside of the trailing arm, but I've found that on the Baja it's better to put the larger bushing on the outside for more accurate alignment. The old bushing has been removed. through the saw as this is a press in the factory case. They are simply hand pressed after removing the old bushing and bushing.

  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Holy prayer! on trailing arms

Best: Easy installation. Dislikes: No directions on where to add the included lube, so I just applied it wherever there was movement. Sure, getting to the hub was a gamble, but pushing it out wasn't crazy in and of itself. I just rented a ball joint press from an auto parts store. After installation, you will feel that the movement has become more elastic. I used to be afraid of replacing these bushings. Whiteline couldn't have made it easier. Now that I have all the necessary tools andโ€ฆ

Fits perfectly. The press is not needed. Should have.

Fits perfectly. The press is not needed. It had to be developed for OEM. Removing the old bushing is the hardest part. If you are replacing it because the rubber has come loose, remember that the OEM bushing has a pressed-in metal bushing that you must remove to install this new bushing. The easiest way to do this is to use a jigsaw, hacksaw, hacksaw or similar to cut a slot in the bushing bushing and then use a chisel to pry up the edge until it pops out and then simply tap the bushing outโ€ฆ
