I bought a refurbished HP business desktop with Windows 10. This computer is a top product that I am very happy with. However, it lacked built-in Bluetooth functionality. I have used other 4.0 BT adapters on an older device but felt I should upgrade to the newer 5.0 BT technology for the claimed improved performance. I bought an Eveo 5.0 adapter from Revain, but the result that disappointed me the most was the difficulty in discovering, pairing and maintaining a connection with BT devices. Even when plugged in, I had poor sound quality and audio dropouts. The TP-Link adapter was also faulty. This Onvian adapter was used without any problems on an old E-Machines PC that I used elsewhere. I decided to order another Onvian and try it on HP. I had some difficulties installing it, but I attribute this to improper removal of all traces of the 5.0 adapter. Once that was over I had a good install and all my BT devices were found and connected quickly. The performance was excellent and stable. I see no need for something that claims to give 5.0 over 4.0 - a stable, quality connection is most important - and this adapter gives me exactly that.
