You look good; but too short

I love the look of these hood clips. However, my problem is that they are too short and I had to do some extra work to get them working. The pins themselves should be at least 3 inches longer. I had to run to Ace Hardware and buy two 1/2" 13" flare nuts and a piece of the entire thread. After that they started to work.
