Received this unit yesterday and was impressed with how good it looks and feels sturdy. vertical bar - two additional sticky pad mounts (which hold the showerhead in place) Once you've slipped the end caps onto the vertical bar, they snap into place with a handle latch that works simultaneously with the suction cup. As another reviewer wrote here, he felt that even with the lock button engaged, the vertical bar still wasn't tight enough and was moving up or down on it. I've experienced the same thing. The locking knob that holds the vertical bar is secure but just enough pressure on the vertical bar and yes it rotates and moves slightly in the end caps. I'm afraid this movement might even cause the rod to fall out one day, leading to a major incident in the bathtub. Wall. I added a few drops of superglue between the cap and the vertical bar. Now he is strong. Now it looks like a one-off, the way it should be. Keep in mind that I do NOT use super glue to attach it to the wall. Only between the end caps and the vertical bar if I was happy with their placement. My personal solution to a small problem with the device. Please note that this may void your warranty. The bracket that the previously purchased shower attaches to is strong and holds up well to the vertical pole. There is a large chrome button on the arm that you can press to move it up and down.
