Review on 🎨 White Porcelain Palette Tray by Jack Richeson Butcher, 11 x 15 inches by Michelle Langley

These palettes are so poorly made that they are broken

I use these trays for watercolor paints. I find the cleaning easy to clean etc. I really like how the trays slope down the middle. This allows me to find a good palette for mixing watercolors according to my way of working. However . They were imported by Jack Richeson & Co. and are by far the worst quality I have ever come across. Despite the manufacturer's warning that "minor imperfections and chips do not count as defects," they are actually so poorly made that they are defective. Extensive chips exposing bare metal, sharp bottom edges and there are spots on the back where drying sticks hanging from the tray are covered with falling stickers. The enamel on this tray is not thick at all. The porcelain coating around the edges of the tray I received had chipped off in a large spot exposing the metal tray underneath, so I know that with repeated washings the tray will rust. This tray should have been packaged better for storage and shipping! I kept the tray because I needed it but deducted two stars due to the large chip. that the tray will rust with repeated washing.
