Somehow I ordered the wrong item when ordering. I tried to order a jute horn and I think I chose the wrong item. It's a fairly smooth suede and it's very durable and my dog loves it, but it's not as easy to grab because it's quite thick and the leather is more slippery than jut or french linen tugs. I would give this product 5 stars if the picture or description was wrong. It is approximately as shown in the picture which is approximately four inches tall. It's about 4 inches wide and two 1/2 inches thick. My dog loves it but quickly learned that it's much easier to grab the handles or off the handles than the middle. This puts you at risk of biting your hand if you're not careful. If it was 2"x12" then I can't imagine what a 4 inch should be!
