Due to the power limitations of POE and these splitters, they may not provide enough power for your Pi when it is under very heavy loads. I think some of the reviews saying it doesn't work may have people who didn't have the right hardware. .I got the splitters, plugged them in and they worked! I ordered more and they worked. I haven't had one that doesn't work and now I don't need a power plug and ethernet cable for each Pi. An ethernet cable does both and I'm very happy. Another great item that accompanies these splitters are micro USB adapters, meaning they can be used for Raspberry Pi 3 or other devices that may not have USB-C.
