I am guilty of buying an end mill, using it until it breaks, and then looking for another. I forget to write it down somewhere, so next time I always buy another one. Not with this beat. I cut fast, clean and last and last until you go boo boo. I mainly cut PVC, Azek, Acrylic and all types of wood and this router does a great job on all of them. I recently had to raid "KaiserWorld", ie. on aluminium. Knowing full well that grease wouldn't spill onto the work surface, I had a feeling I was going to break this part in no time. I read everything I could find from each user group, contacted the manufacturer and used every source I could find to set feed and speed. I wanted to cut a 2.5" diameter circle out of a 1/2" piece of 6011. Someone mentioned that they filled the surface with WD40 as the drill did the job. So I set the speed to 180 ipm and 16,000 rpm, put on my goggles and earmuffs and pulled the trigger. All was going well until I tried drilling with an end mill. I heard that familiar "crunch" and knew my day was over. Overall, I have to say that it worked great until it broke. This is the bit you should have at least 2 and should be essential for almost any job. I highly recommend it. If that's the case, why didn't I give it a 5 star rating? Because I never believe such high ratings, for example. There is always room for maneuver. This is my thought process. In a perfect world I would give it 5 stars, but 4 stars from me is like 5 from many others.
