I've had these dampers on my truck for a couple of weeks now and am happy with the ride and handling - the feel seems comparable to the original OEM damper. There is one problem though: This shock model (911151) is listed by Monroe for my 1999 Chevy Silverado Z71 pickup, but these shocks do not extend full travel like the OEM shocks did (and should). As a result, you have to raise the suspension a few inches to install the shock (problem). As I don't drive this truck off-road I rarely use full suspension but this limits the truck's off-road capability and it's not what it should be which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. If they last another 75,000 miles, they're good value for money.
