I bought these for drilling stained glass and fused glass, tried 8 pieces from the first box and one from another box, even a 2mm hole didn't start transparent glass (thin and fairly soft glass) rolled onto the surface. I have drilled glass for years and this is not what they describe. I tried scoring the edge of a piece of scrap glass with the coated side of the bat, but that didn't even work. I bought some 1mm bits from another supplier at Revain and they work great and still work great. I wanted 2mm and 3mm bits so bought this set - looked like the same box so I assumed they were from the same company - my mistake. Don't buy them for drilling glass or anything hard, which defeats the purpose of buying a diamond drill bit.
