This is a roll of high quality wire mesh. The ½ inch mesh is ideal for keeping rodents, snakes and other pests out. This Zinc Plated Welded Wire comes in spools that are 3 feet high and 100 feet long. We have a vegetable garden and an orchard surrounded by an 8 foot fence to keep out moose and deer. However, many small predators, various rodents and ground squirrels pass. Also, we have snakes including rattlesnakes which are not welcome inside the fence! I keep them away with this thin wire. I attached it to the underside of the taller fence and dug a few inches into the ground. The net is too dense for even field mice to get through, much less for squirrels and snakes to squeeze through. Along the perimeter, a foot off the ground, I run an electrified wire. If the animal tries to climb, it will be electrocuted. It doesn't do any damage, but it definitely knocks them back! This fine-meshed wire mesh does the job perfectly.
