Review on AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Processor: Unlocked 8-Core CPU with Wraith Prism Cooler for Powerful Desktop Performance by Adam Rymko ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I took this percentage to replace my r5 2600 as I turned up on favorable terms for me. What we have, over 4 GHz out of the box, a lot of cores, almost instant response in multitasking, power will last for 7 years, FPS in games on my system has increased significantly compared to 2600. only up to 4.2 GHz and this is on the deepcool redhat tower, secondly, it constantly rushed back and forth in terms of voltage, because of which the poor fan on the cooler did not know what to do and revved, and the temperatures stably exceeded the mark of 75 degrees in the load, as a result, through the proprietary The ryzen master utility fixed the frequency at 4.4 GHz, and the voltage at 1.3 mv, after which the heating became no more than 65 degrees, there was more dope, there was less noise, the power consumption decreased significantly, it was possible to fix the frequencies through the BIOS, especially since I have a gigabyte and there, explicitly, the voltage cannot be set, only through the dynamic vcore parameter, which is as inconvenient as possible. As a result, this is a really great processor that needs to be slightly improved, at the moment it opens my rtx 3060ti to 100%.

Pros
  • Power, power consumption*
Cons
  • Hot, need to be manually finished
