Got the lights in and they seemed fine. Nice aluminum casing, compact size, push lens in to get a wide beam and push out to get a spot. I also ordered some rechargeable batteries to go with these, since they take both the rechargeable and AAA so you have options. After recharging the batteries I put them into these lights and one of them started smoking right away, took the rear cap off and dumped battery out and there was a lot of smoke in the battery tube "WOW". Glad the light did not just blow up the battery or the light itself. Thought that it might just be a bad battery so I also tried the AAA's and the light did not light up at all and the AAA's got really hot. So out of a (4) pack I only got 3 that actually work. Going to reach out to support email on package and see if they do anything.
