Review on EternaBond Black Mobile Rubber Repair by Wesley Sharp

We bought this to fix a sealant failure on a Cougar fifth wheel. The sealant at the junction of the rubber roof skin with the GRP cap on the front of the fifth wheel is slightly torn. We removed all the old sealant and applied 4 inch wide Eternabond tape. It seemed to fit the trailer perfectly. But the next time we set out, Eternabond rippled. During this trip we went through a heavy downpour and our front toilet was full of water when we arrived at our destination. We then bought Flex Seal in an 8" wide roll, applied it to the creased edges of the Eternabond and it fixed the creased edges of the Eternabond issue and now we have no more leaks even in heavy rain. It is worth noting that none of these products can be removed after application. But 8" Flex Tape grips and holds much stronger than even 4" Eternabond Tape.
