Convenient to take with you

You never know when you're camping and you'll need a lock. I always try to have something with me. Easy to use and seals well.

Great roof strap

The strap works well but make sure it's where you want it as it doesn't move when lowered. I tended to bend because of the folds where water could get in.

Super strong at cleaning and maintaining

For repairing wheel arches on a 2000 Viking trailer with pop up tent. It holds up well, and if it can handle 70mph inside the wheel well in the rain, it's a pretty impressive product.

this item does not live up to expectations

Butyl layer is too thin and does not peel off the top layer the quality you would expect from eternabond. I think this is a poor quality product.

Non-Traditional Use

I used this product to seal a plastic wheel well on a camper van. Can't comment on how it fares in direct sunlight, but it did its job of keeping water and sand out of the way. Many use these stitches and it seems.

Garage roof repair

Works great so far. There were 4 small cracks in the flat rubber roof of the garage. The stuff has been around for a few months. Very easy to use. Just clean the area well and paste this stuff. I used a small roller to really press it down.

Eternabond broke after about 500 miles.

I bought this to cover the bottom panel of my caravan. I put it on before a 1000 mile ride. To my dismay it didn't stick to the panels and came loose halfway through my ride. I've used this product before and it sticks to almost everything. So I was disappointed that it didn't work. But usually it's a very good product that works well.

The edges wrinkled and formed funnels through which the rain poured and flooded our fifth wheel!

We bought this to fix a sealant failure on a Cougar fifth wheel. The sealant at the junction of the rubber roof skin with the GRP cap on the front of the fifth wheel is slightly torn. We removed all the old sealant and applied 4 inch wide Eternabond tape. It seemed to fit the trailer perfectly. But the next time we set out, Eternabond rippled.
