This is the brand of floss my dentist always recommends. Not trusting it entirely and having tried a number of other brands I can confirm that this is the best brand I have used. My wife agrees that flossing is clearly good for more than just my teeth. The special advantages of this thread: it does not wear out during use; it is smooth and thin, meaning it slides easily between teeth and down to the gumline; it's about the same price as other threads. Finding all of this in one thread is surprisingly difficult. Now for the cons. Firstly, not a minus in itself, but the mint flavor is neither strong nor healthy. Second, and this is the main disadvantage, this thread sometimes gets caught and comes loose when I try to pull it out of the container. This resulted in wasted thread, necessitating opening the container and trying to get to a clean, unrubbed section. I don't know why this is happening, but it's a real pain. My last little thought is that the containers on these things are sometimes half open - this is useful for solving the above issue, but it would be nice if the accidental opening hadn't happened. However, let me be clear that the default glide thread doesn't show this either. the disadvantages mentioned above. So next time I'll take it again and stick with it.
