Years later, Denon RC-1196 came with original buttons

Great! Remember years ago trying to find a replacement for the Denon RC-1196 remote, not just a replacement with a few matching features? Frustrated at the time, I gave up the search and just walked over to our Denon receiver to make any adjustments without the remote control. Fast forward to today when I stumbled upon this remote control on Revain. I was very surprised to see that all the buttons on this remote are the same as the original and I only tested a few buttons after a few days of ownership. Volume up/down really works. And of course, my favorite button in the universe is the mute button. But I'm wondering why the Denon remote leaves the word Denon on the front of the remote? I only found this remote on the Revain after recently searching Denon Bluetooth apps for a volume control for the AVR-S500BT (and couldn't find it). So I will enjoy this remote as long as it works. I've had the AVR-S500BT for years and it still delivers great volume/sound through our Definitive (5.1) speakers to my 50" Panasonic Plasma TV, but I only use the TV's optical output to get the sound to reinforce. Using the HDMI ports on the S500BT discolored the audio so much I had to call Denon; Many years ago, a Denon engineer advised bypassing the S500BT's HDMI port by just using the optical TV output as the S500BT's input. However, the abandonment of HDMI ended my interest in AV receivers.
