Before I say that, don't expect an ABSOLUTE miracle. If something is really deep or the metal of the damn car is showing, it's not easy to fix. BUT, it works great for scratches and defects. I saw a guy on YouTube using this and he was restoring a REAR of this SUV so I started my journey to restore my 1997 Ford Escort. YOU MUST use some elbow grease, especially on deeper scratches, but PLEASE just take your time because it will work. My car had LOTS of scratches (of course due to the fact that it was probably never waxed and poorly maintained by previous owners). I got rid of all the things I wasted my time on. The black dots all over the car are gone! Just repeat it over and over again. LOG BOY! One day some guy pulled out and left a long blue scratch on my white car. and believe it or not, the whole scratch is gone. It took a while to scrub off, but seriously, you can't even tell what it was, other than the small scratch on the metal it left when it hit the car. I restored the whole car with it and Turle Wax Ceramic Polish And Wax (I decided to save 20-30 bucks and not buy Megiuar's Polish and Wax separately but if you have the money I'm sure they will work!) Came out beautiful, white and especially not in 1997 hahaha. And PS I don't think you should do that (or at least it doesn't say we can or can't) but it works fine on black plastic (like your mirrors). I rubbed my mirrors a little and they look like new! I have these deep stains on my front and rear bumpers from the previous owner that left leaves, rocks, dirt etc all over the place so I don't know if I could have used a stronger applicator (like steel wool). or something) and got it or not. I'm a bit frustrated and would like someone to help me lose weight but I feel like you shouldn't expect this product to just fix it. If it is irreparable (like rust or DEEP scratches) then it is irreparable and NO single compound product will help! :(
