Review on NiteRider 5080 Cherrybomb 35 Taillight by Terence Dardant

Ordered on May 11th but only received on 06/04/2020. Why did it take longer than 3 weeks? Otherwise, NR bike lights are top notch. The best brand for bike lights. Although it works well, it is not durable. Expect it to last about a year due to the rain. I think Niterider batteries are more prone to water damage due to the delicate circuit boards inside the device. The design of the batteries does not protect them well from water. More expensive rechargeable batteries are expensive and have durability issues. Paid about $13 for the battery model, but the rechargeable models are between $35 and $60. Just because you pay more doesn't mean it will last longer. The Solas, Omega, Sentinel and Saber models are great taillights with more power and features. Have bought them all in the last 20 years. But if you want to stand out and don't mind changing the batteries, then Cherry Bomb does the job perfectly.
