I love these gloves, bought 2 pairs, one for the kitchen and one for the BBQ. What I like is that they are glove like and fit like a glove to be older (maybe not smarter). I would have bought them sooner. The ease of use compared to oven mitts and I feel like I have more control and I love the fact you can wash them in the sink knowing you're not carrying bacteria from something you might pick up one day. This would make a great gift for Mother's or Father's Day or even for your neighbor who will be of service to you, no pun intended. My husband loved using them on the BBQ and said his hand didn't get burned on the grate cleaning it. Happy Husband Happy Wife.
