I love these gloves, bought 2 pairs, one for the kitchen and one for the BBQ. What I like is that they are glove like and fit like a glove to be older (maybe not smarter). Excellent for moving objects in, out of and around the oven. Can also be used for hot cast iron and steam cooking. We chose this design for vapor resistance and they work well for that. My small issue with the design is that the fingers are very wide and have a seal that runs between the fingers in an unergonomic way. I really like these gloves. They look huge but fit well (I have medium hands). The lining is thin so it doesn't add bulk. The silicone is very flexible and is easy to grip without feeling like the bulk is getting in the way of the grip.
