I opened the big bag with a smile, went into the kitchen, put the cast-iron pan on high heat. A little later I dropped a drop of water and it immediately boiled away. I put on gloves and picked up the pot by the handle. Not even warm. I gripped the sides of the pan with both hands, not hot, not even warm, and not melting. Revining, a product that really does exactly what I hoped it would. Then I threw away all my old dirty, torn, burned potholders. I bought two pairs.
