I had to buy a new shop vacuum the other day when I was borrowing my old one and it was 'lost' by the borrower. I was very disappointed to find that the new vacuum I bought didn't have the dust extraction attachment from my old one which was/is one of my most used attachments. Tried this set based on the reviews despite some negative comments. On reading it, it was very easy to see that most of the negative reviews were due to the buyer's assumption that vacuum/loading vacuum hoses were one size fits all. and they didn't, so they made a bad buy and got angry about it, expressed their disappointment and used their veto with a low star based on that. The list gives you the information you need to know if your hose will fit. You just have to measure first. Quite easy. I know that due to the fact that so many people use their mobile phones for shopping, this information is easily obscured or never shown as the mobile phone browser truncates the full page version as it is meant to be displayed on the PC screen. From experience this is perfect for my 4000 series shop vac machine. This series has a more compact vacuum size and uses thinner tubing. The parts themselves are very good, I can't comment on durability or longevity as I've just received the set, but I can say they don't feel cheap or flimsy as some say.
