Three stars because it did the job in the end and is a great value over a legitimate factory rebuild but if I had to do it again I would buy the kit and pay the labor of a professional installer to install it. My car is 2009 Chevrolet Express 2500 Van. I will list my grievances below in case it helps sway anyone's decision. - NOT suitable for Universal. There is a slight dent on the door panel as I wasn't able to attach it all the way. Not too bad, it just means the panel isn't fixed in a corner and there is a small visible gap between the panel and the door lock. You can bend the mounts to your liking, but the plastic parts on the handle just don't allow the panel to be tight. And if you press too hard, it will lead to the 2nd callus.- The crank adapter is not very reliable. I learned this the hard way reassembling the door and pushing the panel to latch it. The window stopped working because the adapter slipped off the part holding it in place when I installed the bezel locks. I used all the rings and screws that came with it to prevent this, but it didn't help. I accidentally pushed it two more times before treating it like a delicate flower. It could probably be fixed with a drop of glue. - The switches on the driver's side are reversed. Others have mentioned it too, so can't blame coincidence or error. The switch for dual control of both windows has a driver's side on the right and a passenger's side on the left. I don't think it was made for the US. It wouldn't be hard to move and connect the wires if you're so inclined. - Not enough staples. Especially if you bend them to fit the shape of your door and end up throwing the pair away. There are two points for each door that you need to attach them to, with room for four of each, so 8 for each door. I ended up only being able to use two mounts at each attachment point, which is far from ideal. FOOD / Instructions. Almost every review mentions that the instructions are terrible. You are not wrong. And you won't even see the mentioned network connections. This is not the manufacturer's fault, it is impossible to describe what to do for each machine, but here I suffered the most during installation. I used to add electronics and wasn't shy about cutting and splicing wires but because the switches have LEDs I needed an ignition switch source and after hours of research, trial and error and careful analysis I couldn't find one. . As a result, I routed the wire straight from the battery and added a toggle switch to turn off the power. It's some kind of crap. If you modify your main car it probably doesn't matter but mine doesn't leaving it idle for weeks. I can't do without a leech. So again, the kit works and it's totally fine if you can live with the door panel warping, but if you want to save some money and don't know much about auto mechanics and electronics, buy this and pay someone to do it in.
