I have bought these from several different sellers on Amazon and none of them have worked well or at all. I'm so tired of swapping them out, but now I can do it in 20 minutes. The cable was just the right length and shifting is smooth. I strongly recommend replacing the handle at the same time. The reason they still fail is due to dirt and age. If one is bad, then the other is probably bad too. This time I changed both, like new. Now he has to survive the winter in Colorado. I hope I don't swap it out again next spring as the winter cold is getting to them.
