This 4-pack of Original HP cartridges costs 5 times more than many compatible branded original cartridges. It's very tempting to buy a generic brand when your printer needs to be replaced. However, I have found from personal experience that paying $100 for genuine HP cartridges is better than buying something that costs around $20. protected compared to any generic brand. In March 2020 after reading positive reviews I bought a generic brand just to save a few nice bucks and see if it works for me. Black prints looked fine at first, but after a month or two the results began to deteriorate. Color prints were terrible from the start. Over the course of 6 months the quality has steadily deteriorated and I am not a heavy user of my HP 8600 Premium. I thought my printer broke and I would have to buy a new one. That's when I decided to pay a lot more and go back to the HP brand for the great print quality and confidence that your printer is in good hands. It's so true when they say that. You get what you pay for. If you still want to save and don't get a quality product, good luck! Just remember. Don't be discouraged if your printer gets damaged and it will cost you a lot more than repairing it or replacing it with a new one.
