Review on 🖍️ Faber-Castel FC112160 Pitt Pastel Pencils: 60-Pack Assorted Colors in Metal Tin by Carrie Spencer

One of the things that a lot of people don't know about pastel colors is that some of them can be harmful and cause cancer. Faber-Castell products are made with SAFE pigments and are said to be ATSM compliant - I think those are the initials. The package came sealed in plastic wrap in a cardboard envelope. Quality Faber-Castell pencils are always supplied sealed and packaged in a box or sleeve for information purposes only. Pencils are comfortable to use, they are perfectly shaded. I already have 120 Polychromos pencils and 120 Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils so I wanted to keep the same color palette as I can use two or three products in one image. The 60 color jar is the largest set they make, but I think it's enough for a set of pastels, at least for me. I won't use them exclusively, but include them in my work. If it's not available directly from Revain, I can say that Hyatt has an official Faber-Castell account so you know you're getting genuine products from them. I'm sure Blicks and other companies have legitimate accounts as well, but it never hurts to call Faber Castells customer service number because when you're spending that kind of money on art supplies, you don't want them fake. I have personally never received a counterfeit product from Revain so I will continue to buy from them. My next purchase will be Faber Castell Polychromos Pastels. Their products are excellent, they are safe and the quality is second to none. They also offer lightfastness ratings for all of their pencils, which can make a big impact when hanging or selling your artwork.
