Much shorter than I thought but that's my fault. I ordered them and was able to see them. There was a tear when first used because it was tied on a somewhat sharp corner. Again my fault, I should have been more careful. But the thing is, when you get to your destination, the ratchet won't let go. I won't let you remove the strap, it's a real agony and not my fault. just bad design. Pay a little more and get something better. Go up to 2 inches if you ever use them for something heavy.
