I've been making this thing all week and I love it. The welder will penetrate whatever you need, no matter how thick the material. I welded something with him at work that had to be durable and it was and still is. I've been wire welding (MIG) a very light material and all I can say is amazing. I've welded even thinner material just to see if it works and it worked very well. You can also MIG weld thicker materials, but I haven't done that. Uses 7018 for the handle and Fourney .030 mild steel wire for the lighter material. Excellent results. I have a project that requires TIG but I won't be using it. There are no potential customers yet. I will be using the MIG first and will probably buy a TIG torch and sensor today as well. I think it's a good investment from what I've seen with this product so far. MIG requires a little relearning, but anyone can do it. I'm an experienced welder and it took me a while to get used to how MIG works.
