This router works great with an old Sprint Mi-Fi Air Card. I know this is an older router but this is the only Cradlepoint router that says it is compatible with the old Aircard. So I was happy to find it here on Revain. It worked right away, so I didn't update the firmware. I firmly believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't need fixing. Setting it up is pretty easy. I'm not much of a networking guru but I've done quite a few of these before and some routers are hard to set up but not this one. Just follow the instructions. Cradle Point has some good installation downloads on their website. I'm using this to access the internet in a remote building about 400ft from the main building. With a cheap wireless adapter with an 8dbi antenna I get 3-4 out of 5 bands in a remote building. The biggest downside of this router is that it doesn't have detachable antennas. I know if I could put a slightly better antenna on it I could get nice stable 5 reception. Another issue is that after a while my HP wireless printer turns itself off and I have to reconnect them. I think this is more of an HP issue than a router issue.
