They work great. Try this recipe that I've been making for years, only now I don't have to shell my oysters. I buy a can of shelled oysters at the supermarket. I put the oyster in the SS shell. I put about a teaspoon of oyster juice in the sink. I add about 1/4 teaspoon or less. Seafood Spice by Chef Paul Prudhomme. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. It is best smoked grilled but can also be in the oven at 475F for 5-7 minutes. Next time I'll add 1/4 inch bacon.
