I've experimented with this and used it as both a wireless client and an access point. It uses Mikrotik's default RouterOS and has no limitations. The price was only $19 when I bought it and I will buy it again at this price. It's currently more expensive than the RB941 with the same hardware but 4 ports instead of 3 so I wouldn't recommend it now.
