This little device is a great tool. I get very tired and frustrated when I drive in nails with a set of nails and a hammer that don't go into the surface of the wood battens (even with a nail gun). The nail set works, but often slips off, making the resulting hole much larger and requiring filling. This tool fits right onto the head of 18 gauge nails and will drive them in every time. And a bonus. I like making indentations in the metal that needs to be drilled to get the bit hooked. I used deck screws to create the indentation. One hit from the other end of this tool and you're done. Highly recommended
