Bought for a child - average size 12 - and it fits great. I wasn't expecting a hat and scarf so it was a pleasant surprise. Inner lining made of soft, almost fluffy material for the body and nylon (?) for the hands. The hood can be a bit odd to put on, but there is velcro to keep it in place. Nice coat for the price.
