That was a waste of time. When playing movies, I hear my computer "disconnect" the USB 3 drive. This will stop the movie playback and reconnect a few seconds later. Then you need to restart the movie and find where you left off. I've done some research and it's common for a USB device to have no power. I took a closer look at the drive and there is a connection for a 5 volt power supply, but this device was not included in the box. DO NOT BUY! I just hope I can find my original packaging so I can send it back. My wife loves to "clean up" and throw things away.
