Review on Dorman 604-224 Auto HVAC Blend Door Actuator Suitable for Specific Car Models by Tim Woods

High quality and easy (somewhat) to install on my 11 year old Escape. It is located above the accelerator pedal on the side of the air conditioner as an actuator for the mode door (vent, floor, defrost positions). Insert the 7mm head and it comes straight out (two screws). Line up the slots (I cheated and connected, started the car and let it go to the vent position.) and then it falls in place. to the ventilation position. Working with Dorman and Revane to find a replacement.
