I've never embroidered (and I've never done anything like embroidery) so I was a bit nervous that I'm a bit ambitious with this pattern! I got even more nervous when I pulled out the instructions and couldn't understand what they meant for a full 5 minutes. Fortunately, YouTube is a thing! It was so easy to figure out how to do things after watching and googling a bit on youtube. I think if you're familiar with embroidery or something like that, the instructions will probably be a lot easier to decipher right off the bat. At the same time, even if you are COMPLETELY new to such crafts. I highly recommend this template. It's beautiful and simple and looks really impressive when finished. Note: I recommend buying a new needle! The one that comes with the kit is very thin and difficult to thread a needle through. I found things a lot easier after running to Walmart and getting one with a slightly larger eye. That can only be because I'm so inexperienced!
