I bought this (for the future) because1. It has a USB adapter "C". With an adapter I have the possibility. I don't need it now, but my next laptop will probably have a "C" connector.2. My next laptop will probably NOT have a CD/DVD burner. Therefore, I will probably have to resort to additional USB ports. Right now I'm only using it for my wireless mouse, so I don't know how it will work with a mouse and CD burner at the same time.
