Review on SCOSCHE MAGCD2 MagicMount Universal Magnetic by Emili Hudson

I've been using Scosche products for years and LOVED the sticky dash mount on my last car. Unfortunately, when I rented a new 2018 Mazda CX-5 and traded in my old car, the magic mount went with me. I bought the exact same one for my new car but after trying 4 different ones and returning them because they won't stick to ANY surface in my car I finally settled on this deluxe vent mount and am very happy with it. I was hesitant to use a vent hill because I didn't want to block the vent, but I don't use it anyway. I just closed the airflow and it doesn't make much of a difference at all. It's very durable and can best go with me when I'm driving another car or traveling, renting etc as opposed to a sticky dash mount where you can only use it in the car you placed it in. , No sticky mess, no dripping. It holds my phone perfectly and exactly where I want it! I use the smallest plate and place it at the bottom center of my phone and it seems to be the best spot in all my years of experimentation. I'm a big fan of these minimalist and modern mounts!
