DO NOT SPEND MONEY

This is the worst modem I have ever bought. I used to have an ARRIS SGB-6400 modem and it worked fine with the Spectrum. Due to some electrical problems it stopped working and I bought this SGB-6700 model. The provider this time was Cox Communications. It worked fine for a few months, but when I tried to live stream YouTube, it didn't work. I thought it was my internet connection. Then I checked my friend's live stream and it worked fine. So it must be a modem. I contacted Cox to confirm. The customer service rep came to check the connection and modem and confirmed that the problem was with the modem. He told me ARRIS had so many firmware and software issues that it wasn't worth buying ARRIS. I spent $150 on this stupid modem. The real disappointment was contacting ARRIS support. First I called her. The representative simply ignored my concerns and told me to contact tech support. Instead of contacting someone from tech support, she hung up. How cool is that? Hm? Is that called customer support? Then I tried the live chat. Guess what? Soon I said I want to return the modem, the agent closed the chat. WHAT? I am very angry and disappointed with the way I was treated. ARRIS has one of the worst customer service teams. That's not how you treat your customers. NEVER buy ARRIS, just buy another brand. Cox leased me her modem until I got a new one. I bought Netgear and it works fine so far. To be honest, I recommend buying modems directly from the ISP. I also post videos on my YouTube channel. I hope millions of people see it and learn from my mistake.
