Review on πŸš› Wadoy Eco-Friendly Gas/Oil/Water/Fuel Transfer Siphon Pump, Gasoline Siphon Hose, Fuel Transfer Pump with 2 Eco-Friendly Hoses (15mm) by Luke Liu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple, Efficient, Economical

Like outboard fuel line/bulb. Supplied in quantities of 5 pieces. Primer bulb, 48" hose, 32" hose and 2 locking spring clips. You decide what length of hose you need for priming and deflation and you simply slip the hoses onto the nipples on the ends of the inflation ball, use the arrow on the ball as a flow direction indicator, and secure with spring-loaded clips. The clamps are easy to squeeze and move along the hose through the ends of the cylinders and then release to properly tension the hose. I chose the longer hose as the drain hose and attached a small straight piece of wood with zip ties next to the short hose that will be used as the suction hose. Placing a hose in a dead space in a container allows me to position the hose exactly where it needs to be to reach the lowest point in the container. Otherwise the hose can bend and twist in the tank and you really won't know where it ends up. In this example it was used to drain fuel from a Honda EU2000i portable generator. What can I say, for $9 it's better than the old full mouth or gas programs :-) The wall thickness on the hose is thick so it will take some abuse over time. The real key to quality is whether the tube or bulb of the primer stiffens with age, like most do, so we won't know in a few years :-) As this unit is used intermittently only when camping required is, I'm likely to remove the clamps and remove the hoses for easier storage.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Old fashioned
