You can read about all the interesting features of this GPS in other reviews. But compared to my 3 year old Garmin Nuvi 200 (the cheapest modern GPS money can buy) it's not. The only reason I wanted a new GPS was to get one that could read street names aloud. This moto has way more features than I need but I saw a good lightning price so I decided to give it a try. Send it back and order a new Garmin! The Garmin display is better: the colors are more contrasting, the street names are easier to read. The Garmin voice is also clearer and louder (maybe the Moto has a smaller speaker?). This worries me as I drive a diesel truck and need something LOUD. One of the best things about Garmin is the super simple user interface. When I want to find banks near me on Garmin, it's as easy as pressing the big button that says Banks/ATMs. On Moto, I have to type in the name of the bank I'm looking for, or (I finally figured it out) I can type in the word "bank" and then open the right pane, click the tab to sort by category . and select the "Banksβ category. And Moto seems to have a preset limit on how many matches it shows you. If the pot you want is a little further away from your current position, very bad. Garmin only keeps them as long as you keep scrolling. Garmin has the simplest and most elegant user interface yet. I give Moto credit for a surprisingly cool feature: you can add as many waypoints as you like to your route, and you can *drag*and*drop* them to change their order! This can be a very valuable feature for some users. Garmins (at least the cheap ones) allow a waypoint on the way to the final destination. In 2008 I was on a trip and broke the screen on my Garmin. I stopped at the next big box and bought a Magellan. When I got home I sold the Magellan on eBay because I hated the user interface. Luckily I only have to return the Moto Revain this time. I will be sticking with Garmin from now on (I just ordered a 265WT). In 2008 I was on a trip and broke the screen on my Garmin. I stopped at the next big box and bought a Magellan.
