Charger EZPZ with a banner!

I am a retired auto mechanic with a lot of experience with chargers. Received this today to replace Die Hard #71239 which is made by Schumacher and is identical to this SP1297 except it is red and Die Hard is black. A beautiful digital display banner guides you through connecting and charging. Reads the battery level and once fully charged, the device will enter auto-float mode and the device's green light will flash slowly to indicate it is in "maintenance mode". I've had the Die Hard model for a couple of years (purchased from Sears). ) and used it on a vintage car that was mostly in a garage. I gave my daughter a Die Hard charger to use with the generator's new battery to keep it fresh. I tried NOCO Genius 1 as a replacement but wasn't impressed and returned it. This Schumacher comes with accessories (alligator clips, O-rings for permanent installation and a cigarette lighter style plug adapter). It's great for easy battery use and maintenance. If you need to top up a dead battery, this will get the job done, albeit slowly. At $40 this charger is a steal! I have another more powerful charger (Stanley/also by Schumacher), more powerful and with more features. Schumacher makes most of the battery chargers that are sold under different brand names. Unsurprisingly, most electronic devices have been rebranded with different colors and labels. I hope this review helps you decide on this charger.
