Review on Aquacomputer KryoM 2 Micro Passively Cooled Heat Sink by Ryan Judy

Works excellent and appears to be of high quality. Very unobtrusive and that's what I was looking for. Installed on a new Biostar Mini-ITX board on the bottom side of the motherboard where there isn't adequate ventilation and real airflow. So far the idle temp is around 37-39C. In a full stress test, my Evo 960 never exceeded 52°C. I can't tell what was before and after as I've never installed it without a cooler. I can definitely say based on all the reviews I've read that these NVMe sticks get very hot and start degrading performance within seconds when no cooler is connected. According to my HD load test, I don't see any noticeable throttling, which is exactly what I wanted. Note: I'm not sure if this helped, but I also applied a very, very small dot of Arctic Silver 5 paste directly to the top of the controller and memory chips. Then carefully stick the thermal tape over it. In my opinion this would help close the small air gaps between the chips and the thermal tape. Would buy again.
