The waxy/glossy backing is the underside of this marker
definitely a great bang for your buck! As there aren't many reviews yet I figured it's worth a try, why not?! It came earlier than expected, in plastic packaging, in perfect condition. So, for those of you who are new to marker paper like me, there is a right side and a wrong side (google or youtube). When you open the notepad, the paper on the back (left side) is most similar. Such a waxy/shiny finish makes this paper impervious to blood! If that's not what you're aiming for with your glossy work anyway, I would definitely buy this again! the future and I hope it will still be available for someone like me who is always on a tight budget.
